Who is our customer?

Our service is open to any adult social care provider across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. This includes independent and statutory providers as well as those that directly employ their own workers. These organisations cover all aspects of adult social care including residential and domiciliary care, supportive living and mental health.

Who do we work with?

In order to provide you with current and up-to-date local information we work with a variety of other organisations and sector experts. We liaise with Training Providers to ensure we are aware of what they can offer the social care sector and share with them your workforce development needs.

We also work with the sector skills council, Skills for Care and Cambridgeshire County Council, amongst others, to ensure the information we share with you is meeting local and national priorities.

Most importantly we work with you! We want to hear what your needs and requirements are and how we can support you in meeting these. We would like to share your views around the challenges and successes you have in the development of your workers.

We offer our customers a variety of resources and information.

This includes signposting to local learning and training opportunities provided by the local authority, FE colleges and Independent Training Providers. We keep abreast of organisations hosting events in our area in order to highlight these to you. We also ensure employers are aware of the funding that is available to support learning routes including Apprenticeships, Diplomas and the WDF Skills for Care funding we hold the contract to distribute.

CCTN also signposts to resources developed by Social Care expert organisations in order to support learning. We have recently also been able offer access to the Scils website which hosts a wealth of training materials to support in-house and one-to-one learning.

For more information about any of the above, have a look around this website or contact us.
